Requirements for Foreign Medical School Graduates

In order to do a clinical fellowship, it will be necessary for you to obtain a Georgia medical license. This is a requirement of our medical institution. Requirements for such a license are as follows:

  • If you graduated from a foreign medical school prior to 1985, you must do one year of postgraduate education in the United States.
  • If you graduated from a foreign medical school after 1985, you must do three years of postgraduate education in the United States.
  • Copy of ECFMG certificate.
  • Flex test (pass in one sitting with 75 or above).
  • Transcript from university recognized by World Health organization. Copy of diploma, certified translation to be sent direct.
