Launching tomorrow's leaders Emory Eye Center's Senior Administrator, Zirka Smith, concludes 9-month Excellence Through Leadership program

Emory Eye Center senior administrator Zirka Smith was one of two School of Medicine employees to graduate from the Emory University Excellence Through Leadership (ETL) program on April 24. 

A recent eiditon of I-Site, an international specialty contact lens newsletter, singled out only four of the 155 posters presented at the 2024 Global Specialty Lens Symposium for praise. The lead author on two of those posters was Emory Eye Center optometry resident, Aysha Shafi.

As the Emory Eye Center prepares to celebrate the 25th  Retinoblastoma Kids Day on April 27, we took a moment to visit with some of the "kids" who inspired us. Meet Layton Sanford, Kennedy Rouse, and Turner Strickland

More than 200 Emory School of Medicine physicians were nominated for 2024 National Doctors' Day recognition. For the Emory Department of Ophthalmology, two clinicians stood out: Dr. Jason H. Peragallo and Dr. Nieraj Jain.
