2017 SEOP presentation

 

 

The 7th Annual Emory Eye Center Southeastern Ocular Oncology and Pathology Seminar (SEOP) will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, in the Calhoun Auditorium and Learning Resources Center of the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Participants are invited to bring case presentations or brief topics for discussion in an informal, collegial atmosphere. Cases will focus on clinical diagnosis, management, and pathology of ocular melanoma, retinoblastoma, eyelid tumors, orbital tumors and related topics.

The registration fee for this meeting is $250 and for this, the meeting, coffee breaks, lunch, and CME credit will be provided. Please register by September 11, 2017.

PHYSICIANS CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDIT (CME)

The Emory University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.25 ™ AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Learner Objectives

After attending this course, participants should be better able to:
• Explain pathologic findings of ocular disease and increase knowledge of pathology of ocular disease;
• Identify ocular malignancies;
• Lists recent diagnostic and therapeutic advances made in the past year;
• Apply knowledge to clinical practice;
• Demonstrate how to evaluate, treat and refer patients.

Register online at the Emory Medical School Office of Continuing Medical Education. Deadline for registration is September 11, 2017.  If you have not previously registered for Emory CME credit courses, you will need to create a profile with an email address and password.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Minimum and maximum enrollments have been established, so register early. Written cancellations received prior to September 11, 2017 will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. There will be no refunds after this date. Emory University reserves the right to cancel the program and return all fees. The liability of Emory University School of Medicine is limited to the course fee. Emory will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants, including, but not limited to, airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits.

ACCOMMODATIONS, PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE

A limited number of rooms are available at the Emory Conference Center Hotel at a special group rate of $195 per night, single or double occupancy (plus tax) and Hotel-Motel fee. This rate is available for September 28-29, 2017. Parking and Transportation at the Emory Conference Center Hotel
Parking charges at the Emory Conference Center Hotel for an overnight fee of $15 per vehicle will be charged to the guest folio. Hourly parking fees will apply to all guests not staying overnight and are subject to change. Valet parking services are available at an additional cost.

The Emory Conference Center Hotel has a complimentary six passenger shuttle that serves guests of the Emory Conference Center Hotel. This is an on call shuttle that does not take reservations.
