Eye Conditions

Emory Eye Center provides advanced care for children and adults with diseases or disorders affecting the eye.

Accidents or eye diseases can happen any age. If you’re faced with a vision challenge, know that Emory Eye Center’s physicians and specialists have the expert knowledge and broad experience necessary to diagnose, manage, and treat the full scope of eye conditions. Our team works with patients and their families on issues ranging from vision care for premature babies to special vision challenges that come with aging – and everything in between.

We also offer the most advanced technology for accurately diagnosing eye conditions: corneal topography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), fluoroscein angiography, diagnostic photography, advanced echography, ultrasonography, electrophysiology, and genetic, electrophysiologic and visual field testing.

Tests at our ERG Clinic include electroretinogram (ERG), electro-oculogram (EOG), Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), dark adaptation, and color vision tests. Our pediatric ophthalmologists use diagnostic technology that is especially tailored for children.
