Our physicians and optometrists practice with The Emory Clinic and are Emory University School of Medicine faculty members. The Center's faculty of 33 ophthalmologists and eight optometrists have expertise in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Contact Lens, Cornea & External Disease, Glaucoma, Low Vision, Neuro-ophthalmology, Ocular Oncology, Oculoplastic Surgery, Ophthalmic Pathology, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Resident Education, Uveitis and Vasculitis, and Vitreoretinal (Retina) Surgery & Diseases. Faculty publish between 40 and 60 peer-reviewed articles per year.

Aug. 29, 2012 | Emory Eye Center faculty member appointed to CGRN Executive Committee (ATLANTA) Allen Beck, MD, director of the glaucoma service, has been appointed a permanent member of the Executive Committee of the Childhood Glaucoma Research Network (CGRN), an international group of clinicians and scientists who specialize in treating children with glaucoma.
