Dr. Bruce's main research interests include the epidemiology of idiopathic intracranial hypertension and the application of telemedicine to the diagnosis of neuro-ophthalmic disease. He sees adults with neuro-ophthalmologic problems, such as optic nerve disorders, visual field defects and disorders of ocular motility.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a diplomate in neurology of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
