Susan Elizabeth Shields, OD

Vision and Optical Services

Dr. Shields provides comprehensive eye examinations including treatment and management of ocular disease and contact lens fittings.  Patient population ranges from young children to adults. She enjoys working with under served populations.

Before coming to Emory, she worked as an attending optometrist at  Brookdale Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, in the Department of Ophthalmology.   She also worked with the Congressional Glaucoma Caucus and provided glaucoma screenings to under served communities in New York City.
