My clinical interests include the broad spectrum of ocular diseases that occur in children as well as the treatment of strabismus in adults. I have a special interest in the treatment of cataracts in children, and I am currently serving as the chairman of a multi-centered clinical trial supported by the National Institutes of Health, The Infant Aphakia Treatment Study, which is trying to determine the best way to optically correct infants after cataract surgery.
